Janet Kaplan, Esq.
Janet is a skilled family law attorney with over 20 years of experience, including practicing law in two of Los Angeles’ premier large boutique family law firms, Freid and Goldsman, APLC and Meyer, Olson, Lowy & Meyers LLP. Janet has expertise litigating complex financial and child custody matters, and has training as a mediator and collaborative family law attorney. In addition to receiving her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Loyola Law School, Janet also holds a Masters of Social Work (M.S.W.) from University of Pennsylvania. She worked as a clinical social worker for a number of years prior to practicing family law. This background provides Janet with the unique ability to understand the language and thinking processes of mental health professionals involved with family law clients. Janet’s well-rounded, multidisciplinary perspective on the stressors facing family law clients is an asset to her practice.

Darlene S. Wanger, Esq.
Darlene is a Certified Family Law Specialist*. She has exclusively practiced family law for more than 20 years, at boutique family law practices, including the elite firm, Meyer, Olson, Lowy & Meyers LLP. She received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from University of Southern California and her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. She started her career representing survivors of domestic violence in restraining order hearings, and divorce and paternity matters. Darlene specializes in domestic violence and complex child custody matters involving allegations of child abuse, parental alienation, substance abuse, mental illness, and children with special needs, cases involving complex financial assets, and domestic and international jurisdiction disputes. Working closely with other professionals in assisting clients including forensic accountants and psychologists is an essential component of Darlene’s practice. Darlene has integrated Collaborative Law into her representation strategy and has training as a mediator.
